Top 5 Must Have Apps for Instagram Users

This ones for all my Insta girlies and guys out there, looking for a little guidance on what apps to use.

It took me FOREVER to really narrow down what apps and sources to use to perfect my feed. Iv'e collected some of my holy grails and I'm gonna share with you how they changed my life (not to be dramatic).

#1 Lightroom

Lightroom was actually an app that my best friend taught me how to use and holy shit, life changer. Okay, hear me out. I take a photo in front of a white wall, sun wasn't hitting directly but the fit was fire. Freeze my ass off for these photos, get in my car, drive home, sit down to edit those hoes. Why in the fuck does the white wall look fucking blue? This might be it for me...OR I could download Lightroom and survive another day.

With Lightroom, one of my favourite tools is changing the colour hues in my photos. So the photos where the wall had a blue tinge could be changed to show less blue more white.

All you do is pick whatever colour you hate and needs to sit the fuck down and turn the saturation and luminance down and BOOM now it matches your feed. It also has other features such as blemish healing, texture effects and Lightroom presets so you don't have to do all the work.

#2 Facetune

The next one is another photo editing app but its a must have. I know it sounds bad cause people like using this app to give themselves an absolute dumptruck but I use it for other purposes, I swear. Facetune has whitening, blemish removal, vibrance effects and more. One of the main things I like to use is the background effects, so I can change my backgrounds out or even just change the colour of a wall behind me.

Pro tip! I know the "smooth" effect is like super exciting but dont overdo it. Because you guys know exactly what i'm talking about when bitches look like they painted their own face on and we don't want that. Unless you do! Then do your thing. Overall, the app has lots of features that you can play with for your new Instagram posts.

#3 Feed Planner

Now this app is essential for me because i'm #OCD (like literally diagnosed its a huge inconvenience). There are a fuck ton of different feed planning apps out there but I use one thats literally just called Feed Preview. These apps allow you to post photos and see what they look like with your feed before actually posting them online. So if you're OCD like me, you can see if you like the photos and if the colours match.

Some other old apps for feed planning are "Preview", "Grids" and "Content Office". Some of them even help you schedule your posts so that you never miss posting time.

#4 Stalker Reports

Alright, this one is for all my psycho bitches out there! Im kidding. But like this app literally lets you stalk all of your Instagram Analytics. This can mean new followers, lost followers, ghost followers and more. So when that bitch you never even liked from high school unfollows you, you get notified and can hit unfollow so fucking fast. Some may say its unhealthy to watch who unfollows and what not but for me this is essential because fuck them hoes. If your goal is to grow your page and eventually make a career out of it, tracking your analytics can be super beneficial in the process.

#5 Canva

This app is my shit. It can definitely be used for personal pages but I used this more so to make my brands page look more professional. This app provides you with with thousands of professional looking templates to create stories, posts, Facebook banners and even posters. It took my daily Instagram stories to the next level because it made it look like I actually knew what I was doing. I actually gained followers because of my stories which in the end was the main goal. It takes a little more effort than posting straight from Instagram obviously but was worth while in the end.

Here is an example of an Instagram story I made to promote my blog post. You can change your colour palette to match your aesthetic accordingly, along with fonts, shapes and images.
